Kika Shirt Jacket - Blue Block Print Check

The Kika is a shirt and jacket in one and features a cropped and boxy silhouette. The cambric cotton is lightweight and breathable with a soft hand feel. Other details include a spread collar, a flat yoke with back pleats, a rounded hem with small side splits, and small front patch pockets. 

For the SS24 collection, Jan Machenhauer presents a selection of block printed garments made by hand. Stripes are printed on the fabric with a 15x15 cm block. Checks are made by creating two layers of the striped print - first horizontal, then vertical. The slow printing technique is rooted in traditional Indian craftmanship. For care, we recommend a gentle cold wash using a laundry bag with the garment inside out and hanging to dry.
